Sean Faircloth is the new Richard Dawkins Foundation Director of Strategy and Policy. Inspired by the release of his new book “Attack of the Theocrats” — in which he outlines his 10 Point Plan for a Secular America — Russell Blackford, Meredith Doig and Graham Oppy, three of Australia’s finest and most rigorous public intellectuals, came together at Embiggen Books on Thursday 12th April 2012 to discuss how ideas of secularism have evolved over the last few decades and how and why the time has come to strengthen the policies and strategies which hold our multicultural societies together. What indeed could/should be Australia’s 10 Point Plan be for a truly secular nation?
